m52 GTI / GLI Sport Spring Kit

WARNING : California Residents Prop 65 Information

Our m52 progressive lowered sport springs are the perfect addition for any owners that want to improve the handling of their Golf GTI and (Mk7) Jetta GLI vehicles' appearance - without compromising on ride quality!

The m52 sport springs provide the perfect compromise; a carefully selected spring rate combined with the net-effect of dropping the vehicle's center of gravity provides a substantial improvement in handling and yet, the ride-quality remains on par with OE.

It's a known issue that one of the wheel arch liner fixings can catch once the vehicle is lowered, so we include the required VW modification with our springs as standard - the fitting guide for this can be viewed below.

  • Uprated spring poundage for optimum performance with OE dampers
  • Lowers vehicle 20-30mm depending on performance variant
  • Improved vehicle aesthetics
  • Finished in a durable m52 orange
  • Supplied with arch-liner fixing
  • Compatible with vehicles equipped with ACC

I was worried at first, but it came out great, not too low. Slight difference on ride quality but still a smooth ride.

    Mk7 w/ DCC

I was skeptical at first from reading forum posts about how stiff the mk7 platform gets when using lowering springs on the DCC suspension, but biting the bullet and trying these out ended up being a great decision. Surprisingly the car doesnt rub at all even with 15mm and 20mm spacers, and the springs lowered the car just right. Comfort mode is still comfortable, normal feels like a slightly lesser sport, and sport mode is a bit stiffer than stock. Overall I'm very pleased with these springs and would recommend to anyone looking to lower their car without breaking the bank nor ruining ride quality. Thanks for making these Mountune52.
